Presbyters Retreat

April 21-24, 2009, Benedictine Center in Schuyler, Nebraska

One of the few opportunities to gather together as a college of presbyters and consider our common vocation, ministry, and mission as pastoral servants and leaders in this diocese.

The Retreat format takes into account varied needs for teaching, worship, quiet time, fellowship, and sharing. Here are some of the highlights of the Retreat include:

  • The wonderful lodging, food, and hospitality of the Benedictine Center in Schuyler
  • A format replete with time for prayer, meditation, reading, rest, and worship
  • Time for socializing and visiting with other members of the clericus
  • Important updates and information from our diocesan center

There is no charge for this conference. The diocese pays all your expenses. Retired clergy are welcome to attend.

Given the distances that separate us, the busy schedules that occupy us, and the many new clergy who have recently joined us, the Bishop encourages all active presbyters who are not beset with extraordinary conflicts or illness to make attendance at this event a top priority each year.
